Pinball FX Arcade: BUMP, the first manufacturer bringing Zen Studios to public venues

Pinball FX Arcade is the new professional platform from Zen Studios, the publisher of Pinball FX, bringing digital pinball to arcades, bars, family entertainment centers and hotels. Zen announced it on October 13, 2026. BUMP is its launch partner: the first manufacturer to install it in venues open to the public.

What Zen Studios announced

On October 13, 2026, ahead of Pinball Expo in Chicago, Zen Studios unveiled Pinball FX Arcade, a digital pinball platform for commercial operation (Zen Studios). Zen supplies the tables, physics engine and connected software. Partner manufacturers build, sell and service the machines.

  • The launch catalogue includes classic Williams® and Bally® tables and Zen Studios Originals, licensed for commercial play.
  • New titles will be added continuously.
  • Zen Studios holds the worldwide digital rights to the Williams and Bally pinball library and has produced well over 100 tables since the first Pinball FX in 2007.
  • BUMP is the first manufacturer to deploy the platform. Its machines arrive at venues in France and Europe from late 2026. The United States will follow.

“Pinball FX Arcade finally allows Zen Studios content to arrive at public venues around the world. We are excited to partner with best in class manufacturers and distributors to bring our amazing library of pinball tables on the floor as a connected, managed, earning asset, that will continually grow and evolve, bringing pinball to more and more players, wherever they enjoy playing games.” Mel Kirk, CEO of Zen Studios

What changes for venue operators

For years, offering pinball meant buying, moving and maintaining one machine per table. Pinball FX Arcade changes that equation: one connected machine puts a selection of great classics on your floor, with fresh content and no hardware swap.

  • An evolving catalogue: change the tables you offer without changing the machine.
  • Paid play configured for your venue.
  • Live earnings and fleet data, all in one dashboard.
  • A BUMP machine built for commercial operation: premium OLED, professional sound, reliability and on-site service.

The first deployments will take place at Hadrena locations and other major leisure networks: family entertainment centers, bars, hotels and leisure venues. Run a venue? Let’s talk about yours.

Why this is good news for pinball

Pinball is not a retro game. The category is what became retro. Pinball FX Arcade puts legendary tables in the hands of players who have never tried them, in places people visit to play. At BUMP, we don’t think simulation replaces mechanical pinball: it expands it. More pinball, in front of more people.

“Pinball FX Arcade gives us that content from day one: the Williams and Bally library, Zen’s originals, and a platform that keeps the machine fresh without a hardware swap. This is how commercial pinball moves forward.” Thomas Poulain, founder and CEO of BUMP
